Bradley R. Johnson was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1987. Brad represents employers in litigation, class actions and administrative proceedings. He also defends professionals in malpractice lawsuits in addition to various commercial and insurance coverage issues. Since 2002, Brad has tried or arbitrated 27 cases to verdict in the following states: Florida, Connecticut, Oklahoma, Texas and Nebraska. These matters have dealt with alleged discrimination (race, national origin, religion, age, disability), workers' compensation retaliation, whistleblower retaliation, sexual harassment (including same-sex), intellectual property, construction, admiralty, premises liability, breach of contract, trade secrets, personal injury and non-compete agreements.
Brad received his law degree, With Honors, in 1987 from the University of Florida College of Law, where he was an editor of the Law Review, a member of Florida Blue Key and the Attorney General for the Student Honor Court. He received his undergraduate degree, Cum Laude, from Duke University in 1984.
Since 1996 Brad has been a Board-Certified Civil Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. He is "AV"-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and he is listed in Florida Super-Lawyers (General Litigation, Defense Employment Litigation and Personal Injury Defense Litigation) and Florida Trend’s Legal Elite (Civil Trial). Brad is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the American Board of Trial Advocates, and he is a Master in the Chester Bedell Inns of Court. He is on the Executive Committee of the Florida Bar's Trial Lawyers Section. Brad is also a member of The Bolles School Board of Trustees. He is a former member of the Jacksonville Urban League Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
