Ashley landed in Jacksonville after traveling the world with her Navy Family. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Legal studies with minors in Psychology and Criminal Justice from The University of West Florida, followed by her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.
Prior to law school, Ashley developed a passion for community outreach, volunteering in her hometown of Pensacola, Florida. She also worked for a local law firm, as well as a government engineering command in Naples, Italy.
In law school, Ashley led two teams in competition for the Florida Coastal Moot Court Honor Board, was the president both The Military Law Society and the Black Law Students Association, and continued volunteerism at the Sulzbacher Center in Jacksonville.
Ashley volunteers her time with the American Legion Auxiliary mentoring girls in her capacity as a past Girls State Delegate, developing programs to aid the local community, and providing relief to veterans. When Ashley is not at work or out volunteering, she enjoys spending time discovering new restaurants, doing yoga, and taking business courses.
