Samantha P. Mizeras

Attorney

Sam grew up in Yulee, Florida.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy from the University of North Florida, followed by her Master of Arts in U.S. History from the University of North Florida.  Sam then received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

During law school, Sam interned for the Honorable Wesley R. Poole in Fernandina Beach, FL, as well as interned as a certified legal intern for the State Attorney’s Office for the Eighth Judicial Circuit in Gainesville, FL.  While at the State Attorney’s Office in Gainesville, Sam sat as second chair on a driving under the influence jury trial.  Before joining Taylor, Day, Sam worked as an assistant state attorney at the State Attorney’s Office for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville.  In that position, Sam gained invaluable courtroom experience, including multiple jury trials and adversarial hearings.  Sam and her assigned assistant public defender also conducted the first criminal bench trial via Zoom in the Fourth Judicial Circuit.  Sam’s practice primarily focuses on Personal Injury Protection.

In her free time, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring Jacksonville, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, reading, and trying to create art.
