Shircola is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Women and Gender Studies at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2011. Shircola later obtained her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2017.
Prior to attending law school, Shircola began her professional career as a Probation Parole Officer where she supervised high-risk offenders on supervised probation and parole.
While attending law school, Shircola interned at the State Attorney’s Office for the Fourth Judicial Circuit, where she assisted in conducting depositions and with interviewing victims and witnesses with filing charges and trial preparation. She was also a senior research representative with LexisNexis, assisting students and professors with research projects as well as planning, organizing and holding legal research workshops.
After law school, her legal career began at Deutsche Bank, where she primarily focused on Financial Crime investigations. Through her work, Shircola investigated various types of crime to include, money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, bribery and more. During her time at the bank, Shircola was a member of a specialized team that conducted extensive research and investigation on complex issues that were potential threats to the bank, and provided a disposition for case resolution.
Currently, at Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd, Shircola primarily focuses her practice on Personal Injury Protection Defense.
During her free time, Shircola enjoys dancing and teaching dance to youth, mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and importantly, spending time with family.
