Ashleigh M. Brooks was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. She attended the University of Florida where she received her bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a minor in Anthropology. After graduating, she worked as a legal assistant at a local personal injury firm before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to work as a paralegal in a civil litigation firm. Ashleigh attended Stetson University College of Law, where she was active in many organizations. She was a member of Stetson’s nationally ranked trial team. During her tenure on the team, she was a National Trial Competition Regional Champion and named Best Overall Advocate.
Ashleigh joins Taylor Day after serving as an Assistant State Attorney since being admitted to practice in 2017. She is an experienced litigator who has prosecuted numerous complex cases including violent felony offenses. Ashleigh now focuses her practice on Workers’ Compensation Defense and Personal Injury Protection Benefits.
Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys attending sporting events, spending time with her two cats, and visiting craft beer breweries.
