Courtney M. Drew


Courtney focuses on Insurance Defense Litigation, specifically Personal Injury Protection Benefits.  She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Florida in Political Science before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.

Courtney began her legal practice as a Public Defender for Duval County.  During that time, she represented juveniles facing sex crime charges and possible Direct File to adult court.  After becoming a Division Chief, Courtney also practiced in Crossover Court, handling criminal cases of juveniles also involved in dependency court.

Courtney then went on to practice Personal Injury Defense for five years in Miami-Dade County, where she handled the defense of hundreds of PIP cases, dealing with coverage issues, policy interpretation and fraud.  After relocating back to Jacksonville, she continued her practice at another local firm before joining the Taylor Day team.
