Steve is one of Taylor Day’s founding members and currently serves as Of Counsel to the firm. In his more than 50 years of practice, he has held numerous community and legal positions of high regard. He is a respected member of the community and a sought-after legal representative. Following law school, he served in the United States Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps for four years.

Today, he limits his practice to the representation of insurance companies, agents, and reinsurers in coverage and extra-contractual litigation. Steve’s past experience, however, has included trials and appeals in a variety of fields, including first and third-party insurance defense claims, commercial litigation, banking, class actions, environmental law, constitutional law, and the representation of physicians and hospitals in professional negligence proceedings.

His honors and awards speak to his success as a legal professional, and the praises from his colleagues depict the kind of attorney who doesn’t want to say “no.” Steve will go above and beyond to secure the most favorable result – it is a trait his clients have come to depend on.
