William H. McVicker


Wills is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law. While in law school, Wills served as an editor on the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy and was awarded CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Antitrust Law, Higher Education Law, and Sports Law.

Prior to joining Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd, Wills served as counsel with an industry-leading title insurance underwriter. In that role, Wills managed and resolved title insurance claims involving real property title defects on behalf of individual property owners and mortgage lenders. His work included both non-litigation title curative action as well as oversight of title defense and curative litigation.

Outside of the office, Wills enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing tennis, and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks.
