This week, Shaw M. Ashley had the opportunity to teach in service training for Madison County Sheriff’s Office. The topic was “The Importance of Quality Report Writing.” This presentation outlined important issues that law enforcement officers face when writing reports for use in civil and criminal investigations and how to address those issues, including how their reports affect deposition and trial testimony in civil and criminal cases.
Shaw is a former prosecutor, has law enforcement in his family, and always appreciates the opportunity to speak with law enforcement.
