Nicholas Bussé recently obtained final summary judgment in a premises liability case on behalf of a multinational corporation in Orange County, Florida.
Plaintiff suit stemmed from an allegation that she slipped on water that entered her hotel room from under the hotel door. Plaintiff claims the water originated from pressure washing services being performed by the Defendant’s independent contractors. The use of extensive deposition testimony and affidavits established that the Defendant did not have actual notice or constructive notice of a dangerous condition. As such, Nicholas argued that Plaintiff was incapable of meeting their burden of proof under Florida Statute 768.0775. The Court agreed and granted final summary judgment in our client’s favor.
Congratulations to Nicholas on another favorable outcome!
