Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida State University, graduating early and with honors. During his time at Florida State, he was inducted into the Garnet & Gold Scholar Society in recognition of his academic excellence, leadership, and professional development. He also gained early exposure to the legal field through a clerkship at the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, where he assisted in legal research.
He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. While in law school, Jonathan revived and served as President of the Florida Student Bar Association, fostering a sense of community among Florida students and organizing networking and social events. He also gained valuable litigation experience through clerkships at several defense firms in Jacksonville and St. Petersburg.
After graduation, Jonathan began his legal career at a defense firm in Orlando, focusing on workers’ compensation defense. At Taylor Day, he concentrates his practice on auto insurance defense, while also handing matters involving insurance coverage and bad faith.
Outside the office, Jonathan enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars, and supporting his alma mater, the Florida State Seminoles.
