If you ever get the chance to volunteer with HabiJax on one of their local projects, take it! The Taylor Day Law team had a blast helping to make a house into a home for one deserving family. We jumped at the opportunity to get away from our desks (and get a little dirty) while making a difference in our community.
In 1988, nine visionaries came together to incorporate Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville. Over 35 years later, HabiJax is one of the largest non-profit affordable housing builders in Duval County and is considered to be one of the most successful Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the United States, having provided homeownership opportunities and other housing services to over 2,300 families.
