Teris practices Insurance Defense Litigation with a focus on Personal Injury Protection Benefits. Originally from upstate New York, Teris moved to Florida as a teenager. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management from St. Leo University before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida, graduating magna cum laude.
Prior to law school, Teris worked in the loan department for a local banking institution. She used her mortgage loan knowledge when she began her legal career in Consumer Finance.
Joining Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd, Teris transitioned her focus to Personal Injury Protection (PIP) cases, where she litigates issues involving insurance coverage, and policy interpretation.
When not working, Teris enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children and cheering on Steeler Nation.
