Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd continues to expand their presence in Jacksonville adding five new associate attorneys to its staff.
James T. “Ted” Bailey, Jr.
Prior to joining Taylor Day, Ted Bailey worked for four civil litigation firms affording him significant and diverse experience in handling complex matters. Bailey now focuses on Personal Injury Protection Benefits.
He received his degree in Political Science from Florida State University where he also graduated with honors from the College of Law.
Ashley T. Fetchero
Ashley Fetchero began her legal practice as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Florida. She then went into private practice with an insurance defense firm in Tampa. Fetchero now devotes her practice at Taylor Day to PIP cases, dealing with coverage issues and policy interpretation.
She received her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in Communications before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.
Parker H. Hastings
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Parker Hastings attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate degree, earning his Bachelor of Science in Journalism. He then received his Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law.
After graduation, Hastings served as Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida and later practiced with a multi-state civil litigation firm before founding and managing a boutique practice. His practice areas include automobile accident defense, general and commercial liability, premises liability, municipal and county liability, and insurance defense.
Porfírio A. Gueiros
Born and raised in Northeast Brazil, Porfírio Gueiros moved to Florida in 2001. He received his bachelor’s degree in Jewish Studies from the University of Florida, followed by his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law.
Before joining Taylor Day, Gueiros practiced as in-house counsel at Fidelity National Financial. He now focuses on Business and Commercial, Construction Law and Real Property & Title Insurance.
Theresa R. Sanders
Theresa Sanders attended Indiana University for her undergraduate degree, earning her Bachelor of Science from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Health Services Management. She then enlisted in the United States Navy for 5 years prior to enrolling in Florida Coastal’s JD-MPP dual degree program. Theresa received her Master of Public Policy from Jacksonville University and her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.
Before joining Taylor Day, Sanders gained insurance defense experience at a workers’ compensation firm and went on to practice at a large insurance defense firm. Her practice areas now include automobile defense, general commercial liability, and insurance defense.
