LINDSAY A. MICHAEL received her B.A. in Criminology and Minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center.
Lindsay worked for the State Attorney’s Office and the Florida Department of Highway Safety before joining Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd. Her practice focuses on Premise and General Liability, Construction Law, Fire Loss Litigation, Florida Tort Law, and Auto Insurance Defense.
ELIZABETH G. FUNDERBURK earned her B.S. in Marketing from Florida State University and her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law.
Before joining Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd, Elizabeth interned with Grady Sports Agency where she procured NIL partnerships between collegiate athletes and companies. She now focuses her practice on litigation and defense of claims brought under the Florida Workers’ Compensation Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
CARRIE E. HIGHT interned at Keep it Green Advocacy, a non-profit in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, focusing on environmental law and heirs’ property. At Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd, she focuses her practice primarily on Construction Defect Litigation.
Originally from Portland, Maine, Carrie earned her B.A. in Political Science, graduating cum laude, with minors in Business Administration, History, and Sociology from the University of Florida. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law.
CLARISSA L. LANGFORD received her B.S. in pre-law from National University and began her career as a paralegal. She joined Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd in 2018 and, after a few short years, was inspired and encouraged to return to school to obtain her Juris Doctorate. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Barry University, Dwyane O. Andreas School of Law, and transitioned within the firm as an Associate in the Workers’ Compensation division.
DAWN M. CARSTEN is originally from Indiana and received her B.S. in Public Affairs-Legal Studies from Indiana University. She received her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she also earned certificates for Research, Writing, and Drafting, Environmental Law, and Pro Bono Honors. At Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd, Dawn will focus her practice on motor vehicle claims, including the areas of Personal Injury Protection (PIP), Bodily Injury (BI), and Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist Coverage.
