Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd expanded their leadership team, promoting two associate attorneys to Partner in January.
Shaw M. Ashley joined Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd in 2021 after more than six years of public service, first as an Assistant Public Defender and later as an Assistant State Attorney. Shaw brings a wealth of knowledge as a skilled litigator with extensive courtroom experience overseeing numerous complex cases. At Taylor Day Law, his practice areas include Auto Insurance Defense, Transportation & Trucking, and Fire Loss Litigation.
A Central Florida native from Ocala, Shaw earned his Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida and his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.
Parker H. Hastings has been a member of the Taylor, Day, Grimm & Boyd team since 2022. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Parker earned his Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law.
Following law school, Parker served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida. He later practiced with a multi-state civil litigation firm before founding and managing a boutique practice focused on entity formation, municipal regulation, and contract law. Parker’s current practice includes Transportation & Trucking, Auto Insurance Defense, Casualty & Florida Tort Law, and Business & Commercial Litigation.
